Southeast Asia Industrial Development:
Shlapak group consisted of major international partners including : Bechtel Engineering Co. , Poyry Engineering Co. , Electrowatt Engineering Co. , Bilfinger - Berger Construction , Ch. Karnchang Construction , Seimans Electrical , Toshiba turbines and generators , Krung Thai Bank , Ratchuburi , and Electricite de Laos. Nam Ngum 2 hydroelectric dam: construction began in 2005 and was completed in 2010. The dam produces 615 MW of power with construction cost of $1 Billion USD in 2010. Shlapak Development Company currently hold an agreement with the government of Laos to develop hydroelectric dams, oil and gas concessions, and mineral mining in the country. Shlapak developed a 44,000 sq. km. oil and gas concession in Laos with Monument Oil Company. This included extensive seismic core drilling , mapping ,and charting and drilling of a 13,000 ft. oil / gas well.
